Series 101

Experience the pleasure of these beautiful hand crafted red sable brushes. Fashioned on a triangular maroon handle with ‘easy grip’ in mind. Ideal for those who struggle to grip a brush and perhaps suffer from arthritis and with the added bonus they won’t roll off the table!

Introducing our Evergreen Synthetics

Recently launched, a useful edition to our extensive range of brushes. The green dye was originally an idea I had to compliment the Christmas season – green reminded me of holly and ivy and Christmas trees. We sent them out to various artists as gifts ‘tongue in cheek’ and they loved them.

Smooshing, Smudging, Tinting

I’ve designed this new range to be an inexpensive blending brush. The Smooshing Brush is made from a blend of different grades of badger hair.

I’ve packed the hairs into the ferrule really tightly to create a dense brush, which will be firm to the touch, but still flexible. The beauty of the domed shape allows for a multitude of brush strokes.

The Tree & Texture Brush

Struggling with your trees?

Designed to simplify the art of painting trees and foliage in any medium, this special brush has just the right performance to deliver the perfect tree foliage (also a good texture brush for shrubbery, grasses etc).

The Best Of Both Worlds – Flat vs Filbert

A new addition to our Ivory range designed by David Shevlino from the USA.

In Shevlino’s current work, the canvas has increasingly become a place to experiment with different techniques of paint application. He is particularly interested in exploring the line between the traditional representation of the figure and the abstraction of it, and his paintings reflect his simultaneous use of both approaches. His paintings are characterized by broad brush strokes, a sensuous application of paint and an obvious feel for tonal harmonies.
