
Artist Spotlight: Judy Stach

Judy Stach’s paintings reflect an intimate understanding of life along the shore, with seascapes and landscapes coming alive with children at play, sailboats breezing by, and gardeners lovingly tending flowers. Her paintings are displayed in public, private and corporate collections nationwide and in Europe, and her works have been featured in publications, including The New York Times and The Artist’s Magazine, since 1999.
She is an Emeritus Member of the Salmagundi Club and an Elected member of Audubon Artists, both in New York City. She holds Signature Status in the American Impressionist Society and Plein Air Florida. Judy is also the founder of The Plein Air Painters of the Jersey Coast. She has studied with some of America’s finest artists, including renowned artist and author Richard Schmid, as well as other classically trained artists, including Timothy R. Thies, David Leffel and Anthony Ventura. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, she currently resides in Oceanport with winter breaks in Vero Beach, FL.
Judy studied with foremost artists Richard Schmid, Timothy R. Thies and Nancy Guzik. Judy’s paintings are represented by West Wind Fine Art in Walpole, NH.
