Mark Boedges – Master Workshops by Rosemary & Co

For this workshop, we will focus on capturing the landscape with an emphasis on creating a realistic sense of light and atmosphere.

For the first half of the week, we will work on foundational elements such as composition, value, and colour temperature. The second half of the week, we will then work on further developing these elements to create paintings with a stunning sense of light.

We will not focus on elaborate scenes, but instead zoom to find more simple arrangements of elements with which to hone our skills. This will be an independent workshop, where you can work and pace yourself as you feel comfortable to learn.

This workshop is designed for all levels of oil painters, from beginner to advanced. Having taught all skill levels for over ten years, I am very comfortable tailoring my individual instruction to the student’s needs.
