New USA Distributor – Threlfall Fine Art Supply

“Threlfall Fine Art Supply is a true husband-and-wife business. Eric and Susie came to Montana with the dream of opening their art gallery, and along the way, that dream grew into something more. When we arrived, we quickly realized there was a real need for a true fine art supply store in the area. Artists were ordering many of their materials online or travelling out of the area to find the professional-quality products they wanted. We decided to change that.

We opened Threlfall Fine Art Supply in Bozeman, Montana, with the goal of creating a place where artists could find the materials they need, discover new products and brands, and, just as importantly, talk to people who understand the products and the creative process behind them.

Being married and working together has made the store very much a reflection of both of us and our shared love of art. Eric brings his experience as an artist and working professional, while Susie brings her passion for the business, the customers and creating a store where artists feel welcome and inspired. Together, we are constantly looking for ways to make the store better and bring something new to the Montana art community.

Eric is an award-winning wildlife photographer as well as an oil painter, and he has been using Rosemary & Co. brushes for years in his own work. Because he had already experienced the quality and performance of Rosemary’s brushes firsthand, bringing the line into our store was really a no-brainer. We knew it was a line our customers would appreciate, and we wanted to give artists in Montana access to the same brushes that Eric has relied on in his own painting.

One of the things that has been particularly important to us is being selective about the brands we carry. We want the products on our shelves to be products we genuinely believe in and would recommend to our customers. Rosemary & Co is a perfect example of that philosophy. We are excited to continue expanding the line and making Rosemary & Co a significant part of our brush department.

We are passionate about bringing professional-quality art materials to Montana and supporting artists at every level, from someone taking their first class to established professional artists. We also love introducing artists to materials and brands they may not have had access to locally.

We are still a relatively young store, but we have big plans for Threlfall Fine Art Supply. We are continually expanding our product selection, bringing in new brands and materials, and developing classes and workshops that will bring fresh instructors and new ideas to the local art community.”
