Debra will guide you step by step with solid techniques, inspiring demos, and personal coaching that promise to elevate your skills and ignite new confidence in your work.

Adding to the magic, a second group with masterful, award-winning pastellist Lisa Skelly, who will also be teaching Pastel Gardens and Landscapes. Lisa will be offering her unique insights into colour, light, and texture with this luminous medium. Together, the two instructors provide a rare opportunity to expand your creative vision and explore fresh approaches.

Over the course of the workshop, you will learn how to capture the textures, colours, and atmosphere of classic English gardens and the rolling landscapes of Yorkshire. Giving supportive instruction, Lisa will teach the importance of strong composition, how to create an underpainting, and apply unique pastel techniques while creating dynamic, impressionist pastel paintings. Pastels will bring vibrant life to Yorkshire’s natural beauty, from lush floral gardens to the classic English countryside.
